What is a nominee officer? A nominee officer is a person who appears on public record for you in the state of Nevada that can help protect your privacy. Whenever you form a corporation or LLC you are required to list the name of the Directors or Managers. A nominee officer can appear only on this public filing to protect you from prying eyes. A nominee officer has no authority to act on behalf of your company, is not an owner, does not sign on or open bank accounts or handle any tax related issues for your company, but they can however provide a layer of privacy between you and your business.
